CONCACAF Champions League New England vs Joe Public

New Engand got off to a slow start against Joe Public last night. The Revs looked tentative and
J. P. took advantage. Its hard to say that J. P. got a couple of cheap goals. The team had crisp passing and had good crosses. Sure Matt Reis might have stopped the first goal if he was between the pipes, but woulda, coulda, shoulda, just doesn't get it done.

With the Revs down 2-0 in the second half, a ticky tack foul was called when Sharle Joseph was taken down in the box. You could argue that it was deserving of a PK, but Joseph and the Revs should count themselves lucky that they got the call.

Did you see the game? What do you think of the Rev's performance? Is this the kind of play we will see for the rest of the tourny, or is it just a slow start?
